Camp Dudley – Facilities
There are 10 cabins, totaling 94 beds. Each cabin has bunk beds, a desk area, wall heater, and electricity. The cabins do not have restroom facilities, but the centrally-located shower house serves the cabins with restroom and shower facilities. The shower house has private restroom stalls and shower curtains for privacy.
The bathhouse serves as our central restroom and shower facility, with individual shower stalls. Conveniently located at the heart of camp.
Shinn is our two-story, full-service lodge. During the summer months, Shinn generally houses backpackers and Counselors in Training. In our rental season, Shinn is the most popular stay. The first floor has a full-service kitchen, great room with fireplace, restroom with shower, and a single room with one bunk bed. The upper floor has two large bunkrooms with 11 bunk beds each, and the shower and restroom facilities are across the hall.
Harvey Hunt Hall
Our dining hall, named after long time Assistant Camp Director Harvey Hunt, is a beautiful building in the center of camp and houses the main dining room and kitchen. One end of the building is a comfortable family-style lounge room with a fireplace, and on the other end is a classroom with a loft area and additional family-style seating where we teach our Outdoor Environmental Education and Backpacking programs.
The Clive Green Pool is right on Clear Lake and a great attraction on hot days. Operating through Labor Day when we run our annual Family Camp, this heated pool is a popular stop no matter what the outdoor temperature. The pool is available for an extra charge.
