Group Swim Lessons

Our swim lessons focus on creating confidence and proficiency of swim skills. Children will be led through a progressive age-appropriate curriculum building on the previous skill learned. Children are progressed when independence and proficiency is achieved. Classes are held at the Yakima Rotary Aquatic Center.

Group Swim Session SCHEDULES

Adopt a schedule by choosing a day and time that repeats each week that works best for you. Below is a list of days and times to choose from by ages:

3-5 year old: Classes are held each week on:

• Monday: 4pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, OR
• Wednesday: 4pm, 4:30pm, 5:00pm, OR
• Saturday: 9am, 9:30am, 10am

6 years & Up: Classe are held each week on:

• Monday: 4:30pm, 5:30pm, OR
• Wednesday: 4:30pm, 5:30pm, OR 
• Saturday: 10:30am

Group Swim Session PRICES & OPEN REGISTRATION DATES

YMCA Member: $80 per session

Registration (Online & In-Person) opens:

• Session 1 - Wednesday, August 14
• Session 2 - Tuesday, October 1

Community (Non-Y) Member: $100 per session

Registration (Online & In-Person) opens:

• Session 1 - Monday, August 19
• Session 2 - Monday, October 7

Fall 2024 Private Swim Lessons

Private lessons begin at 3 years of age up to adults.  Each Private Swim Session totals 6 classes; 1 day a week, 25 min class. Lessons start Sept 10th. Semi-Private are groups of 2 children from the same family who are within the same skill level. Prices listed below include 6 lessons at the same time and day. Allow 1 makeup lesson with 24-hour notification.
