BODYPUMP^™ is THE ORIGINAL BARBELL CLASS^™, the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Vinyasa is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences and classes tend to be more vigorous, aerobic, and core-oriented yoga.

Have fun moving to music and flexing your muscles. This class will use bands, weights, and mats. Learn how to activate your functional muscles to make your activities for daily living easier and safer.

A fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting and effective aerobic fitness party without feeling like a workout.

Your kids will have fun in this safe environment at the YMCA & Yakima Rotary Aquatic Center. Our drop-in youth room is the perfect place for your youngster to make friends, play, and exercise! You’ll rest easy knowing they are supervised by our caring YMCA Staff while the kids have opportunities to enjoy swimming and gym time, arts and crafts, ping-pong, games, and more!

Please note that on double Y-Crew days, your child is able to attend only one of the two sessions.

Ages: Boys & Girls 1st – 8th Grade

A class utilizing water weights and the river current. Class is held in the lazy river.

Come swim ready as the locker rooms do get busy. Toddlers must wear swimmer diapers with reusable swim diaper cover over it.

*No access to lap pool for 10:30am-12pm Rec Swim time.

*Lap pool lanes are limited during water classes and recreational swim sessions.

LES MILLS+ RPM^™ is a cycling workout where you control the intensity. RPM^™ will take you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding.

In an RPM workout you repeatedly rotate the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness levels over time. It’s a journey, not a race!

Work all muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises while using dumbbells, body bars, spin bikes, and your own body weight.

Takes place in the YMCA & Yakima Rotary Aquatic Center Basketball Court

Ideal for anyone and everyone, LES MILLS BODYBALANCE^® is a new generation yoga class that will improve your mind, your body, and your life.

You can expect to bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves, elements of Tai Chi and Pilates, while an inspiring soundtrack plays in the background. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started.

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE^™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

All the moves in LES MILLS CORE have options, so it’s challenging but achievable whatever your level of fitness. During the workout, trained Instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as bodyweight exercises like crunches, and hovers. Plus there are some hip, butt and lower back exercises too.
